Marc J. Monte is an associate attorney at Axelrod, Fingerhut & Dennis. Marc has over twenty years of experience as a civil litigator in the State and Federal courts of New York. His litigation experience encompasses landlord-tenant matters, cooperative and condominium disputes, residential and commercial real estate disputes, business litigation, employment discrimination and wage and hour claims, and trust and estates matters. Marc is well-versed in the entire litigation process, from intake through trial, settlement and appeals, and has appeared before numerous administrative tribunals and participated in extensive alternative dispute proceedings.

Marc also has extensive transactional experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions and finance, commercial leasing, advising cooperatives and condominium corporations on board governance and operational matters, contracts, advising corporate clients on employment practices and corporate governance, and advising clients on estates matters. He has also served as General Counsel to a tech start-up in Flushing, New York.

Marc has devoted many hours to assisting Brooklyn Italians Youth Soccer Club in Brooklyn and is an avid supporter of the Arts, including the New York Philharmonic, Miller Theater at Columbia University and WXQR-FM classical music radio station.
